Entertaiment :
The meaning of entertainment has broadened, to encompass any form of recreation or amusement, from the individual choosing an activity that suits his or her tastes from a vast range of pre-recorded products; to a banquet adapted for two; to performances intended for thousands. Entertainments can take a variety of forms and may be either serious or comic, although often they address themes that our brains were evolved to react deeply to, such as social backstabbing and murders. Some of the oldest and most familiar entertainments, such as Shakespeare, have had a serious purpose as well as aesthetic effect.
