Entertaiment is a noun referring to any activity that a person or group does for enjoyment. It can be something as small as an individual choosing a private entertainment from a huge assortment of pre-recorded products; to a banquet designed for two or more people, with appropriate music and dance; to performances intended for thousands; to various ceremonies, festivals and religious celebrations, and even to satire. Although most entertainments have a degree of amusement, they can also serve as educational and aesthetic experience, and can also be a means of reaching insight or intellectual growth.
